Step 1.
Take the tripod out of the box. Place it on the ground and pull the bottom handle toward you. Push the lower frame down until it folds out to the desired width (the wider, the sturdier), and push the lever where away from you to lock in place. Pull the top lever toward you and pull the upper frame to the desired height. Push the lever away from you to secure.
Step 2.
Take the bottom of The Sabine 1 and place it on the tripod. Note that the cutouts for the cables and microphone should be on the back, and the tripod on the front.

how to assemble?
If you're wondering how to get started or what to do, you're in the right place. We've put together some super straightforward instructions to help you build The Sabine 1.
So, kick back, relax, and let's get you acquainted with the ropes. Scroll down to find our handy instructions, and you'll be up and running in no time! Enjoy!
Step 3.
Take the left side and insert it into the bottom cutouts. Push down gently, and tap to the back so that it is firmly in place.
CAUTION: Tap the parts gently and with a flat hand to fit together properly. Tapping too roughly or pulling hard on the material can cause damage!
Step 4.
Repeat step 3 with the right side.
Step 6.
Place the top over the Sabine. Gently push into the recesses and tap until everything is firmly in place and there is no more space between the panels.
NOTE: Check carefully what the top and bottom sides are. If you place this panel with the wrong side down, assembly and disassembly will be very difficult!
Step 8.
Disassemble the included microphone screw by loosening the wing nut and corresponding washer.
(You can leave the top bolt and washer in place).
Step 10.
Mount your microphone of choice to the Sabine 1's microphone screw, and close the upper lid before recording.
NOTE: If applicable: remove the extra microphone screw adapter within your microphone’s mount, before mounting it to the Sabine’s microphone screw. Please use a five cent coin and turn the screw adapter counter clockwise to release. Do NOT use a screwdriver.
Step 5.
Gently place the back of the base down and tap until it is firmly in place.
Step 7.
Place the diffusion filter tightly against the back
of the Sabine 1.
Step 9.
Place the microphone screw in the appropriate recess, and tighten at the bottom with the washer and wing nut. Usually it is placed in the center of the recess, but depending on your needs, you can also move it forward or backward.
NOTE: Do not overtighten the wing nut to prevent
damage to the underside.
